Mechanism of Action
Enzalutamide works by targeting and blocking androgen receptors in prostate cancer cells. Androgens like testosterone bind to these receptors and stimulate cancer growth. Enzamide stops this process in three ways: it prevents androgens from binding to the receptor, stops the receptor from moving into the nucleus of the cancer cell, and also stops the receptor from activating the cancer genes.
