NexiNem 1000 mg contains Meropenem, a broad-spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the carbapenem class. It is used in hospitals to treat serious and complicated bacterial infections, especially when other antibiotics are not effective.
Mechanism of Action:
Meropenem works by blocking the formation of bacterial cell walls. Without a stable cell wall, bacteria cannot survive or multiply. This leads to the breakdown and death of the bacteria.
