NexGard SPECTRA is an advanced broad-spectrum chewable treatment for dogs that provides protection against both external and internal parasites. It combines two active ingredients, afoxolaner and milbemycin oxime, to offer a single monthly dose that helps prevent flea and tick infestations as well as various worm infections. Its palatable form makes it easy to administer, especially for dogs that resist topical treatments.

Mechanism of Action:

• Afoxolaner targets fleas and ticks by interfering with their nervous system. It blocks specific receptors involved in nerve signal transmission, leading to paralysis and death of the parasites.

• Milbemycin oxime works on internal parasites by affecting their nervous system as well. It increases the release of chloride ions into nerve cells of worms, causing paralysis and elimination of parasites such as roundworms, hookworms, and heartworms.

    Adverse Effects:
